Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Aura Studio (“we”, “us”) collects when you use myaura.studio, why we collect it, who helps us process it, and the choices and rights you have. We process personal data in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and a securely hashed password — or, if you sign in with Google, your name and email from your Google account.
• Phone number: the contact number you give us after signing in.
• Your content: room photos, floor plans, sketches and reference images you upload, labels and areas you mark, text prompts, and the renders we generate for you.
• Projects: project names and the details you add to them.
• Plan and payment records: your plan, subscription status and payment references. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by Razorpay — we never see or store them.
• Usage and technical data: renders used, job history, error logs, and your IP address (used, in hashed form, to protect against abuse).

How we use it

• To provide the service: create your account, generate and store your renders, and keep your projects.
• To manage your plan, process payments and keep track of your monthly renders.
• To contact you — by email, phone or WhatsApp — about your account, your renders, support requests, and product updates and offers. You can ask us to stop sending updates and offers at any time.
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
• To improve Aura Studio: our team may review your uploads and renders to fix problems and improve render quality. We don't use them in marketing without your permission.
• With your consent only: advertising measurement through Meta (see Cookies).

We do not sell your personal data.

Who processes your data

We use trusted service providers to run Aura Studio. They process data only to provide their service to us:

• Amazon Web Services — hosting, database and file storage, in the Mumbai (India) region.
• OpenAI and Replicate — AI processing. Your uploaded images, marked areas and prompts are sent to them to analyse your photos and generate renders. These providers are based outside India.
• Razorpay — payments and subscriptions.
• Google — sign-in, if you choose “Continue with Google”.
• Email delivery provider — to send account emails such as password resets.
• Meta — advertising measurement, only if you accept optional cookies.

We may also disclose data when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users and service.

Cookies

• Essential cookies keep you signed in and protect your account (session and security cookies). The service can’t work without them.
• Optional cookies (Meta Pixel) help us measure our ads. They are only used if you click Accept on the cookie banner, and you can change your choice from Cookie preferences in the site footer.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data, uploads and renders for as long as your account is active, so you can come back to your work. Unused uploads are removed automatically. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting laws require. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data unless the law requires us to keep it.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
• correct or update it;
• delete your account and personal data;
• stop contacting you with updates and offers.

To make a request or raise a concern, contact us by email at info@myaura.studio. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, passwords are hashed, and access to your content is limited to your account. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you of a breach as required by law.

Children

Aura Studio is meant for adults. You must be at least 18 to create an account.

Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes, we’ll update the date above and let you know in the app or by email.
